IHC and Evil Geniuses knocked down to Last Chance Stage
The two teams lost their second match at ESL Pro League Season 17 today.
There is nothing evil or genius about Evil Geniuses these days. The North American roster was tasked with a difficult job today against the Turkish lineup from Eternal Fire.
On Anubis, both XANTARES and Calyx had a field day against the struggling NA team. Eternal Fire won 16-6 with ease before moving on to Overpass. Here it quickly turned sour for EG, who had to start the second half with a 2-13 deficit. But much to their credit they actually amounted to a comeback with Timothy 'autimatic' Ta and Jerric 'wiz' Jiang leading the team almost all the way back. But in the end, the lead for Eternal Fire was too big to catch.

In the other early match of the day, MIBR won 2-0 against IHC. The match was fairly even on both Inferno and Anubis. It was the T side of MIBR that carried the Brazilians through winning 9-4 and 10-5 on the two maps.
With the win MIBR advance to the lower semi-finals, where they face the loser of Cloud9 and G2. IHC drops down to the Last Chance Stage, where they face Evil Geniuses on Saturday.
