Evil Geniuses receive special invitation for IEM Dallas

ESL has announced the first ten teams attending IEM Dallas for the tournament that will begin on the 29th of May.

Noticeable is the absence of NAVI but also last year’s winner from Cloud9, while their struggling NA counterpart, Evil Geniuses has received a “local hero” invitation. An invitation that the community immediately questioned.

There are still five spots open for qualifiers, while one team is yet to be announced.

IEM Dallas features a $250.000 prize pool and will be held at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas.
