Heroic got their revenge against EG
The Danes send The North American team to the Knockout stage.
Heroic secured themselves a spot in the Group A final after they got their revenge against Evil Geniuses. The last time these two teams played each other was in the opening match at the event where the North American team clinch home a 2-1 victory against the Worlds number one.
This time, things started similar to their first meeting, but despite the Danes losing their own map pick Nuke 16-9 after a great CT side from Evil Geniuses, the world's number one took things into its own hands and dominated the North American team with two straight wins on Overpass 16-2 and Mirage 16-5.
After Evil Geniuses won the first map all five players found it hard to keep up their presence in the following maps. No EG player had a positive +/- score during the last two games. Heroic on the other side had to step up in order to stop the Evil Geniuses upset from happening once again. With Martin "stavn" Lund and Casper "cadiaN" Møller playing well on Overpass and Mirage the Danes left Evil Geniuses with no chance to recreate their success from their first meeting.

Heroic takes on Vitality in the Group A final. The winner qualifies for BLAST Spring Final, and the losing team goes to Knockout Stage Round 2.
