Renowned coach lash out on Valve: Why are we getting punished?
zews heavily question Valve after their new and harsh restrictions regarding CS:GO coaches.
The powerful gaming creators from Valve has recently published a statement regarding a new rulebook concerning coaches, saying that coaches won’t be allowed in the room with players during online matches. Something that is a clear consequence of the on-going “Coaching Bug Scandal”, which emerged last year.

It has made the famous and experienced coach from Evil Geniuses, Wilton "zews" Prado to speak about the matter and express his thoughts on the case. In an interview with thescore esports, zews says that he and other innocent coaches are being punished for no reason, and questions Valve’s decision making.
“Valve stands behind ESIC’s ruling and are saying that ESIC has acted correctly in banning them and they are supporting them. So, you have already punished everyone who was doing wrong, but why are we just punishing the ones that haven’t done anything wrong?”
Evil Geniuses will have to do without zews at upcoming tournaments and RMR events
The Brazilian coach continues by saying that this decision by Valve will hurt the entire community, from tier 1 but especially for the lower-ranked organizations and their coaches.
“Maybe in my position, it only hurts a future paycheck or a negotiation or something like that. But for smaller organizations who rely on these coaches to not only teach the players they have but also set the bar, … their chance for an honest chance in competing and the prestigious events have been taken.”
