Evil Geniuses showed confidence in the first round

The third match of the first day at the IEM Major Rio is finished.

After a well-played T-side from IHC, Evil Geniuses took over the match and turned around a 0-7 lead in favor of the Mongolian team. The first half ended with an 8-7 scoreline to Evil Geniuses. The American team stepped up and showed why they were the clear favorites going into the match.

Evil Geniuses pressed the speeder as they played some impressive Counter-Strike on the T-side. Despite losing the pistol round, the American team strikes back. A close first half ended in a dominant win for Evil Geniuses, who closed out the game 16-9.
