Evil Geniuses and EXTREMUM are off to a horrible start at cs_summit 8
Extra Salt and paiN has already clinched a playoff spot, owing to their impressive wins against EG and EXTREMUM.
Both Evil Geniuses and EXTREMUM hold a star-packed roster with profiled players like Vincent 'Brehze' Cayonte, Joakim 'jkaem' Myrbostad, and Owen “oBo” Schlatter. Also being two core lineups that have played in multiple major tournaments.
However, a great resume and track record did not help them at the opening round at cs_summit 8.
Because, the two top teams both ran into troubles in their respective matchups against Extra Salt and paiN, where especially EXTREMUM got run over by Josh “oSee” Ohm and the well-oiled machine of Extra Salt. The NA AWPer ended the 2-0 series with a strong 1.35 Rating / 88.9 ADR.
