Evil Geniuses out of BLAST Spring Showdown
GODSENT took care of the ailing North American team.
The first match of the North American BLAST Premier Spring Showdown ended with a Brazilian victory.
GODSENT did not have any problems taking out Evil Geniuses, who once again showed, that they are far away from being a tier-1 team at the moment.
On EG's own map pick, the North Americans lost 16-8. Eduardo 'dumau' Wolkmer created problems for EG, but also worth noting was the AWP duel between Henrique 'HEN1' Teles and Tsvetelin 'CeRq' Dimitrov that ended 6-0 in favor of the Brazilian.
On Mirage it got better for Evil Geniuses and CeRq, but still, it was not enough to shake GODSENT, who took home the map and match 16-11.
GODSENT will face the winner of FURIA vs ATK in the semi-finals of the tournament. Only the winner advance to BLAST Spring Finals.
