A second youth for the experienced Snax
The former major winner seems to have found back to the old Snax after joining Anonymo.
Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski is on his way back to the top of CS:GO. The 27-year-old AWP'er has been out of the spotlight since 2018, but lately, he has found momentum with his new Polish team Anonymo. The new roster has proved themselves at Flashpoint 3, where they have collected important RMR points for the Stockholm Major.
Snax was at his career highest when he was at Virtus.pro from 2014 to 2018, in this period the major winner managed to get himself two places as number four in the world in 2014 and 2015. In 2016 the Polish phenom dropped to fifth place on the ranking.
Snax played in eleven majors for Virtus.pro, and the team managed to win the EMS One Katowice 2014 when Snax was still new on the roster. The team also made it to the Grand Final of the ELEAGUE Major 2017, but Astralis were too strong in the final in a close match.
The Polish phenom then chose to move to mousesports, the team managed to win the ESL One New York 2018, but this was the only achievement that the AWPer got from the 3 months on the active roster mousesports.
Snax chose to rejoin Virtus.pro, but the beast couldn’t find himself after the time at mousesports, and it became difficult to see a future for Snax at the big teams.
The Polish shooter chose to take a step down and join Illuminar, but again without the expected success, and after eight months at the Polish side, the icon became inactive after a bad year for Illuminar, when they chose to transfer list their roster.
But after a month on the sideline, the Polish AWPer found himself a new team in Poland, he seems to feel at home at Anonymo. The Polish have produced some great plays in the last month, and he has presented the best rating we have seen from him since 2017, where he last was seen in the top 20 list.
With Anonymo we could perhaps see Snax perform at another major.
