Virtus.pro and Monte ready for Grand Final at Roobet Cup
Both Semi-Finals went the distance and ended 2-1.
The final battle for the $150,000 first prize at Roobet Cup is set to take place tonight at 18.00 CET, when Virtus.pro and Monte go head to head.
The two teams booked their tickets to the Grand Final yesterday with 2-1 wins.
Virtus.pro fought off FURIA after losing the first map of the series in overtime. But on both Inferno and Ancient, it was Evgenii 'FL1T' Lebedev who stood out in the VP comeback that ended with a convincing 13-7 win on Ancient. For FURIA it was the usual suspects in Yuri 'yuurih' Santos and Kaike 'KSCERATO' Cerato that led the way, but the two Brazilian riflers lacked support from the rest of the roster to tip over the match.
The second Semi-Final was almost a true replica of the first. Aurora won Anubis, but then Monte fought back and eliminated the Russians with wins on Nuke and Ancient.
Tonight at 18.00 CET the Grand Final will take place. You can watch the match in the livestream below.
