Virtus.pro part ways with KaiR0N-
A short stint came to an end after recent poor performance.
KaiR0N- and Virtus.pro have parted ways in a mutual agreement, as announced by the organization. The player only spent three months with the team, taking over n0rb3r7's place in January. The split comes just six days after Virtus.pro failed to qualify for the BLAST.tv Paris Major, with just one win in four matches at the BLAST.tv Europe RMR A. Virtus.pro faced SAW, B8, Into the Breach, and MOUZ, the last three mentioned teams were the once to take down Virtus.pro and eliminate them from the upcoming major event in Paris.
Interestingly, KaiR0N- did not play with the team in their elimination series against MOUZ. Virtus.pro surprised many by substituting the 19-year-old for n0rb3r7, who had been benched for nearly four months. However, the swap did not change the team's outcome for the better, as they were beaten by MOUZ in the next match.
The future of Virtus.pro is unclear at the moment, with the team withdrawing from IEM Rio just days before the tournament was set to begin. The organization has changed its focus on enhanced training. Virtus.pro's next appearance will be at IEM Dallas, scheduled for May 29 to June 4.
