Virtus.pro stunned the entire CS:GO community when they decided to replace Aleksandr “KaiR0N-” Anashkin with the benched David “n0rb3r7” Danielyan right before their decisive matchup against MOUZ at the RMR.
A match, the Russian team ended up losing 2-0 which meant they lost their shot at qualifying for the upcoming Paris Major next month.
Following VP’s disappointing exit, NAVI AWPer Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev has been out with harsh criticism on his own Telegram channel of the organization, which he calls “Outsiders”, for their handling and decision-making of the demotion of KaiRON-.
- Outsiders management is acting like pieces of shit. Swap the player at 1-2 [in the RMR standings], get a replacement, buy the player [n0rb3r7] a ticket and still f**k up. First, they came up with an excuse about documents [visa issues], and then they said that the guy was kind of nervous.
Something, s1mple disproves after having talked with KaiRON- himself at the event.
- Yesterday we talked. We were standing with Amiran [Head of Esports at NAVI] in the smoking area. KaiR0N- came over and we asked if he was nervous or something. He said, “Nah. The team decided so. What can I do? And I’m thinking, “What a great team you have.”
“Well-deserved fuck up”
s1mple continued to blast Virtus.pro in the voice messages on his Telegram channel saying that the missed Major qualification was “well-deserved”.
- You shouldn't sign a contract with Outsiders for more than one year. Otherwise, this organization will devour you. They have achieved nothing in the last five years… This attitude towards the players is unacceptable.
- I can't recall such bullshit happening in the history of CS:GO, throughout 19 Majors. Well-deserved f**k up for an organization that doesn't give a shit, s1mple stated.
