As one of the most well-established esports organizations from Russia, Virtus.pro is known for being one of the best teams the scene has ever seen. The organization is mostly known for its teams in Dota 2 and CSGO. Since CSGO got released, they have been one of the top teams and are being regarded as one of the best to play the game. Until 2018, Virtus.pro hosted the majority of the players from the Golden Five, which are Poland’s most popular and well-known CS roster. Following their greatest tournament results in 2014. They claimed several big victories in the following year over the best teams in the world. That included the 1st place at ESL Pro League finals in 2015 where they beat the core players of all-time greatest team Astralis which was named under an organization called Team SoloMid. Virtus.pro managed to claim the ELEAGUE Season 1 trophy in 2016, where they won against the best Swedish roster of Fnatic. In the following year Virtus.Pro kept chasing big results and ended up winning Dreamhack Masters Las Vegas 2017, as well as a bringing dominant performance at the ELEAGUE Major Atlanta, where Astralis was the only team to beat them in the finals. The organization does not have the polish lineup as the roster anymore but has managed to pick upcoming talents from another organization called AVANGAR. The new generation of talented and young players are going to try to live up to the success of the team’s previous years and make a statement.
