October 2023 Pleyer of the Month: Danil "donk" Kryshkovets
The 16-year-old Russian has been excellent in the first full month of CS2.
October 2023 has been a new beginning for all competitive Counter-Strike players with the introduction of CS2 in all tournaments. The new game has brought several changes to the meta. AWP’ers have in general found less impact which can be seen on the ratings.
Danil "donk" Kryshkovets – 1.46 rating in 40 maps (1.28 against top 30 teams)
He is only 16 years old but has already shown his incredible potential in the new lineup of Spirit. The transition to CS2 has been smooth for the rifler, who had five maps during October with a +2.00 rating! While some of the matches have been against Tier-2 opponents, Danil "donk" Kryshkovets has been excellent against the likes of MOUZ, Complexity, Movistar Riders, and 9INE.

The most decorated player in CS:GO sets a high bar for himself in CS2 with an unreal start. The 5xMajor winner has agreed to step in for Heroic for the remaining part of 2023, but hours before his debut, chaos erupted with the benching of both stavn and Jabbi. Despite that, Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen has kept his head cool and guided his young teammates to the playoffs at the Thunderpick World Championships with some excellent performances. He has delivered a +1.00 rating in all 15 maps with the latest map against BIG as the highlight with a 1.74 rating on Vertigo and a 1.70 rating on Nuke. Yeah, dupreeh is back and we can’t wait to see, where he ends up.
Dzhami "Jame" Ali – 1.21 rating in 21 maps (1.28 rating against top 30 teams)
As mentioned in the beginning, AWP’ers have had a difficult time adjusting to the new game. Dzhami "Jame" Ali is one of the AWP’ers that has the smallest decrease in the % of kills with the AWP. In October Jame made 57% of his kills with the “Big Green” which is a drop of 8% compared to 2022. Compared to other prolific AWPers such as Helvijs "broky" Saukants (31% drop), and m0nesy (24% drop) Jame seems to have adjusted to CS2 much faster than everyone else in his position.
