ZywOo´s troops outplays Virtus.pro!

A near-perfect performance, especially on the CT side from Vitality.

Virtus.pro was favorites against the Vitality, but they didn’t play their best game today against a very strong Vitality roster!

The first map was to be played on Inferno, Virtus.pro´s map choice, but they didn’t have a chance against a very great performing Vitality roster.

In the first half Vitality was hard to break down as the CT side, and Virtus.pro struggled to find a way to get through the strong defense, and they had a very rough first half.

Vitality ended up winning the first half 9-6, but there was still hope for Virtus.pro as they have a very strong defense on Mirage.

But Virtus.pro couldn’t deliver in the second half, as Vitality seemed to have played the map a lot lately in the training sessions, they played against one of the strongest opponents on their map pick, but they bulldozed through their strong defense.

Vitality ended up winning the second half 7-4, which ended up being enough for Vitality as they won 16-10.

The next map was on Vitality´s map choice, where they delivered yet another masterclass on the CT side on Vertigo.

Vitality didn’t give the Russian side a chance on the map, they were leading 12-3 after the first map, and the game seemed to be a formality.

And Virtus.pro didn’t have a chance in the second half as ZywOo´s troops delivered on cruise control, where they won the second half 4-2.

The game ended with Vitality on top with a 16-5 win on Vertigo.

Vitality will move on to the semi-finals of the IEM Summer 2021.
