Virtus.pro secure first upper final spot!

Virtus.pro has secured the first spot in the favorable upper final at Flashpoint 2, after sending BIG down to the lower bracket with a 2-1 victory on Mirage (16-9) and Overpass (16-11), despite losing their own map pick on Vertigo (6-16). With this victory, Virtus.pro has advanced to the upper final which means they are only one match away from the grand final of the tournament and the $500.000 prize win.

Alexey “qikert” Golubev and Markes “YEKINDAR” Galinskis were the top players overall on the server, both delivering a rating of 1.12 over the three-map series.

Virtus.pro will look forward to facing the winner of fnatic vs. MIBR in the upper final, while BIG has to battle it out in the lower bracket against OG tomorrow at 18:00 (CEST).
