No one can stop Virtus.pro at the moment
The IEM New York CIS champions have been unstoppable lately, crushing every opponent on its way.
Virtus.pro is currently playing some of the best Counter-Strike. They are unbeaten since September the 16th where they after their loss to Gambit Youngsters has managed to set up an 18-match winning streak, beating the leading CIS team NAVI twice
The roster consisting qikert, buster, SANJI, Jame and AndreN had a phenomenal run in 2019 under the AVANGAR organization winning big events as Blast Pro Series Moscow and DreamHack Open Rio de Janeiro culminating with the impressive and very surprisingly 2nd place at the Starladder Berlin Major.
Earlier this year, they acquired the young Latvian Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis who has been an unstoppable force since his arrival and looks like a perfect fit in an already young and promising roster. YEKINDAR has been vital for Virtus.pro in their 18-match winning streak and especially in their victory at IEM New York CIS.
It will be exciting to see if Virtus.pro can maintain this high level of Counter-Strike and be a genuine contender to NAVI as the best CIS team, but also globally against teams outside of the region.
