7 years ago today: Virtus.pro wins IEM Katowice major
The legendary Polish roster with Jarosław "pashaBiceps" Jarząbkowski was crowned the best team in the world seven years ago today.
In 2014 on the 16th of March, Virtus.pro entered the big stage on home turf at IEM Katowice. Nicknamed the "Virtus.plow" the Polish roster had gone all the way through the qualifiers to the Grand Final.
The opponents was the Swedish giants from Ninjas in Pyjamas, who had been in the first Major final the year before.
The Grand Final ended with Virtus.pro steamrolling their Swedish adversaries, with both Jarosław "pashaBiceps" Jarząbkowski and Janusz 'Snax' Pogorzelski playing outstanding in front of an exciting crowd at the Spodek Arena in Katowice.
