The Swedish-side climbed to a 5-7 lead, three rounds before halftime but didn’t manage to take the last three in a closely-contested affair. As the teams switched sides, fnatic won the first three rounds and afterward bounced back to a 10-13 lead, before Virtus.pro found their footing and created a solid defense to win 5 rounds in a row, 15-13. VP denied the Swedish-side to make a comeback and locked down the first map 16-14.
On Vertigo, both teams followed each other in the first half, but once the sides switched, Virtus.pro took control of proceedings, continuously punching holes in fnatic’s shaky defense to reach the victory and complete their unbeaten run at the $200.000 tournament.
