Danish rifler takes a break from competitive play
An unknown wrist injury has forced Daffu to take a medical leave.
Jakob “Daffu” Schildt, a now former ECSTATIC player, has announced that he will be out of competitive CS:GO indefinitely due to medical reasons. In a comment to Dust2.dk, the 25-year-old Dane explains that he has problems with his wrist and that he doesn’t know for how long he will be on the sideline.
- I have problems with my wrist. I have been to the hospital, where they thought I was suffering from tendinitis. After injecting adrenocortical hormone, they found out that something else must be wrong as it had no effect. Now I'm waiting to go back to the hospital where I have binocular surgery to find out what's wrong. In the meantime, they also think I've got gallstones, and I'm also waiting for a scan after that. We'll see when I can return. I don't know, but I hope it will be as soon as possible, Daffu told Dust2.dk.
Daffu is currently a free agent after his departure from ECSTATIC was confirmed two days ago. The Danish rifler ended up representing the team for 11 months before getting released this weekend. He has previously featured for Copenhagen Flames and AGF Esports.
