Vitality and OG highlight Pinnacle Cup III playoff invites
Will ZywOo and Vitality be able to take home their first trophy of the year in the coming days?
The tournament organizers behind Pinnacle Cup III have just announced the four playoff invites for the $100.000, injecting a huge number of superstars into the mix.
Vitality, OG, ENCE and ECSTATIC will all enter the tournament in the quarter-final stage, where they will take on the winners from the first round in playoffs, already featuring profiled teams like Copenhagen Flames, SKADE and Endpoint.
Accepting the invite for this tier-2 event will serve as a good opportunity for the new Vitality roster to grab their first title since acquiring dupreeh, Magisk and Zonic in January this year.
The star-studded French/Danish mix have not had the best beginning together, with the team most recently bumping out of the group stage at ESL Pro League Season 15. Despite the rocky outset, Dan “apEX” Madesclaire and company have shown glimpses of the high potential and individual power and greatness, that the roster clearly possesses.
Something, they will have to show here at Pinnacle Cup III if they wish to outplay a well-playing ENCE side or the Danes from Copenhagen Flames.
The quarterfinals will be played tomorrow, with the playoffs kicking off this Sunday.
