Hometown heroes one step closer to Elimination Stage
ECSTATIC is now one win away from advancing to the next stage.
A little surprise is brewing at the PGL Copenhagen Major. The mostly unknown Danish roster from ECSTATIC is now 2-1 up in the Opening Stage after beating Lynn Vision today 13-8.
A superb T side on Overpass saw the Danes leading 9-3 before they finished off the job in the second half. ECSTATIC can now look forward to the best-of-three matches, where they will get two chances to qualify for the next stage.
A possible opponent for the Danes could be GamerLegion, who outclassed Legacy winning 13-4 on Vertigo. On home turf the Danish AWP’er Frederik 'acoR' Gyldstrand popped off with a stellar performance to help his team secure a 2-1 status in the Swiss Group Stage format before Round 4 tomorrow.
Both Legacy and Lynn Vision drops down to the 1-2 bracket, where they are now one defeat away from elimination.
