FaZe are the winners of Group C!
Vitality couldn't handle FaZe and a red-hot ropz
After five games of Inferno and four overtimes, it was time for the Group C Final and the last game of the day. On one side was the new Vitality who had gone 2-0 so far, and on the other side, we had FaZe, who had already played three overtimes earlier in the day. The two also faced each other in the Upper Final where Vitality was able to make a massive comeback and take the victory in overtime. The battleground of choice was Overpass, and had the Danes and the French starting on the T-side, while FaZe were the CTs.
FaZe were the ones to put their name on the scoreboard first, with "ropz" and "Twistzz" combining for all five frags. Vitality fueled by a thriving "ZywOo" answered right back and took a 3-1 lead. As soon as FaZe got fully equipped, the trio of "ropz", "Twistzz" and "broky" looked extremely sharp, and they went on a six-round win-streak. Vitality went to halftime three rounds behind, and with "misutaaa" and "apEX" on 1 and 2 kills respectively.
FaZe managed to take home the pistol round despite "ZywOo" continuing to put up big numbers. The Danish/French team repeated their success from the first half and won the force-buy, putting FaZe on the backfoot. This didn't matter to FaZe as they shortly after managed to win a full-eco round after some whiffed shots and bad timings from the Vitality side. Off the back of that eco win, FaZe just kept extending their lead until they hit map point at 15-8. Vitality did manage to take home two more rounds, but a quad-kill from "rain"s deagle ended the game at 16-10, and thus FaZe are the Group C winners.
