Vitality first team ready for playoffs in Shanghai
The French Organization booked their ticket after a solid performance against MIBR.
Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut, Dan "apEX" Madesclaire, Lotan "Spinx" Giladi, Shahar "flameZ" Shushan, and William 'mezii' Merriman became the first five players to advance to the playoff stage at the Perfect World Shanghai Major after three straight victories.
The Paris Major Champions qualified for the last stage of the Major in Shanghai with a superb showing against MIBR.
Vitality started out on Mirage, where they immediately exploited what seemed to be one of the weaker maps for MIBR. A strong 9-3 start was quickly converted to a 13-3 win before the match headed on to Anubis.
Here MIBR found themselves once again on backheels with Vitality leading 9-3 at the break again. And despite winning the first two rounds in the second half, MIBR never managed to catch up to Vitality who qualified in style winning 13-5.
