ZywOo delivers insane Day 1 at European RMR

It was an action-packed day 1 at the PGL Copenhagen Major European RMR Group B, where the defending champions from Team Vitality destroyed all opposition to go 2-0 up in the Swiss Group Phase. The talk of the town was the insane performances from Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut, who went 25-6, and 24-4 during the 31 rounds it took Vitality to win 13-2, and 13-3 against GamerLegion and Heroic.

Danil "donk" Kryshkovets and the rest of Team Spirit had strolled through ENCE in the opening match, but against Astralis the IEM Katowice champions had to deal with adversity for the first time in a while.

Astralis gave a great performance using some of their trademarks as tools to tame the Siberian beast in Danil "donk" Kryshkovets. A superb use of utility and a several good teamplays set Astralis up for success against Spirit, who had to reset a couple of times using their timeouts before figuring out a way past Astralis. In the end it was a 1vs3 clutch from Dmitriy "sh1ro" Sokolov that tipped the match in favor of Team Spirit, who won Vertigo 13-11 and joins Vitality in the 2-0 bracket. Cloud9, and MOUZ also won both of their matches on day 1.

Preasy, Guild Eagles, Nexus, and PERA are all in danger of elimination tomorrow after two defeats on Day 1.
