G2 edge out M80 to qualify for playoffs at Pro League
Eight teams from Group A and B have been eliminated from the tournament.
Astralis and Team Vitality are through to the Quarter-Finals at ESL Pro League Season 19 after the two teams emerged victorious from Groups A and B.
The Danes plowed through 3DMAX to convincingly win Group A after victories against Eternal Fire, FaZe, and the Frenchmen from 3DMAX in the Upper Final. 3DMAX, FaZe, and Virtus.pro booked the remaining three spots in the playoffs from the group.
Team Vitality displayed the same dominance in Group B by winning all their matches 2-0 against Sharks, BetBoom, and TheMongolz. Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut finished the group stage with an insane 1.72 rating, while Lotan "Spinx" Giladi followed suit with a very respectable 1.44 rating in the tournament so far.
In Group B TheMongolz, BetBoom, and G2 secured qualification with the latter going all the way through the Last Chance Stage to make it through. In the 4th place decider match against M80, G2 got their revenge after having lost to the mixed American/European team earlier on in the tournament.
Groups C and D will start their Season 19 journey on Tuesday.
