Liquid, G2, Vitality, Spirit, NAVI, and Astralis book Fall Final tickets
FaZe will have to go through the Showdown event to qualify for the tournament in Copenhagen.
The first tournament following the summer player break has provided some insight into what we can expect in top-tier Counter-Strike in the coming months. Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov and Danil "donk" Kryshkovets continued their dominance in 2024, helping G2 and Team Spirit secure spots in the BLAST Fall Finals.
In Group D, Team Liquid triumphed over the reigning Major Champions from Natus Vincere twice, earning their place in the Fall Finals. This marks a perfect start for Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken, who debuted as an in-game leader with an impressive 1.20 rating over the eight maps it took for Liquid to top their group.
In Group B, Vitality and Astralis emerged as the strongest teams. The two rivals clashed twice, with Vitality winning both encounters to claim the group victory. Astralis, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Complexity, and Natus Vincere then competed in the 5th-6th place decider matches, where NAVI and Astralis secured victories against Complexity and NiP, respectively.
The BLAST Premier Fall Showdown event starts on August 21st, where two more teams will earn the final spots for the BLAST Fall Finals.
