FalleN triumphs in debut; sending Liquid through to the upper bracket
Liquid ran over Natus Vincere in the opening round of BLAST Premier Global Final.
The super team of Liquid deny Natus Vincere in their attempt to grab an upper bracket place, giving Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo a perfect debut. The Americans started out dismantling Aleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev and company, by defeating the Russians 16-6 on Inferno. Even though putting up 36 kills and a 1.77 Rating on Nuke, s1mple couldn’t avoid the 0-2 defeat against Liquid. The newcomer FalleN helped secure the series through a strong 1v3 clutch at a vital stage in the second half.

Liquid’s Canadian superstar Keith “NAF” Markovic showed once again that he’s a completely essential part of Liquid. The relaxed rifler led his team to a strong victory over the Russian giants from Natus Vincere. Especially NAF’s T-side on Inferno was remarkably good, with Liquid’s loyal servant setting up a 14-5 K/D and 1.77 Rating.
