MOUZ and Liquid qualify for Playoffs at Pro League
The two teams face off on Saturday for a spot in the Quarter-Finals.
The second part of the Group Stage of ESL Pro League Season 19 has reached the final stages with the first elimination match coming up tomorrow. Here Bad News Kangaroos and FURIA will start their journey in the Last Chance Stage of Group C after having lost both their matches in the group.
FURIA was humiliated by FORZE losing 7-13, 0-13! The stand-in player Kayke 'kye' Bertolucci delivered a nightmarish match clocking in a rating of just 0.44.
In the other end of the spectrum, Liquid and MOUZ qualified for the upper-final of the group guaranteeing themselves a spot in the playoffs. For Team Liquid, the tournament has been a much-needed positive experience after a horrible start under the guidance of Casper 'cadiaN' Møller as their new in-game leader. In Malta, victories against FURIA and Monte have finally given the fans of Liquid something to be happy about. While it was the resurgence of Mareks 'YEKINDAR' Gaļinskis that stood out in Liquid’s win against FURIA, Casper 'cadiaN' Møller scored the highest rating in the hard-fought win against Monte.
In Group D, Complexity, HEROIC, BIG, and Natus Vincere all made it through the opening round with victories.
