NAF extends contract with Liquid
The Canadian will stay with Team Liquid until 2026.
The very successful partnership between Team Liquid and Keith "NAF" Markovic is set to continue in the years to come.
Keith "NAF" Markovic has been a part of Team Liquid since 2018 and has been one of the pillars of the roster throughout his tenure, he has switched positions and roles several times on the team to accommodate the needs of the various rosters. The 25-year-old Canadian is the only player remaining from the roster that in 2019 completely dominated the world of CS:GO winning the Intel Grand Slam in just 63 days.
To HLTV the Team Liquid rifler commented on the new contract.
- I’m excited to announce my continuation with Liquid through to 2026. I believe my organization is taking the correct steps to build our team back to the top. I’m ready for the next adventure!
The post on Twitter from Keith "NAF" Markovic came shortly after the announcement of the departure of coach Damian "daps" Steele from the team. Team Liquid is undergoing another rebuild at the moment with Robert "Patsi" Isyanov and Aleks "Rainwaker" Petrov being benched, while Joshua "oSee" Ohm is also rumored to be leaving the team.
Names such as Casper "cadiaN" Møller and Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken has been put in the mix of a new Team Liquid team, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
