BIG hand Complexity their first loss of the season

BIG’s Nils “k1to” Gruhne stepped up and lead the charge for his team in today’s matchup at ESL Pro League.

The Germans are back on track!

BIG have won their first match at ESL Pro League Season 13 following a clean 2-0 victory over Complexity who have been undefeated until this point. k1to were the X-factor for the German-side in the matchup as he dropped a 38-bomb on the first map of the series and later continued with a stellar performance on Dust2.

Mirage: 16-12 | Nils “k1to” Gruhne – 2.05 Rating – 140.6 ADR – 38-16 K/D
Dust2: 16-7 | Nils “k1to” Gruhne – 1.56 Rating – 92.5 ADR – 23-14 K/D

The series kicked off on Mirage where Complexity went to second half with the lead. But the Juggernaut couldn’t hold BIG’s offense back with k1to leading the charge, which resulted in Complexity only grabbing 4 rounds before BIG closed out the map 16-12.

On BIG’s own pick, Dust2, Complexity once again couldn’t keep up with BIG’s pace on T-side. The Germans dominated the first half and stormed through to a 11-4 lead before the second half. Despite winning the pistol round, Complexity lost the three rounds afterward and therefore BIG quickly closed out the map 16-7 to wrap up the series 2-0.

Highlight of the series:

MVP: Nils “k1to” Gruhne | 1.82 Rating – 118.9 ADR – 61-30 K/D
