Cloud9 secure BLAST Spring Final spot over BIG
A well-fought victory saw cloud9 win their first tournament in 2023.
Cloud9 has emerged as the winner of the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2023 Europe, after a thrilling final against BIG. Although Cloud9 lost the first map 16-14 on Inferno, they bounced back and took control of the game, winning the second map 16-11 on Vertigo. In the deciding map, Cloud9 put up a strong performance and secured the win, earning themselves a spot in the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2023.
Cloud9 had an impressive run throughout the tournament, taking down Copenhagen Flames 2-0 and Ninjas in Pyjamas 2-1 before facing BIG in the final. With this victory, Cloud9 has proven itself as a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming Spring Final.
Earlier this month, Cloud9 fell short against FaZe during the grand final of ESL Pro League Season 17. But, with high confidence and great team play, Cloud9 is now ready to face the world's best at Spring Final 2023 which will be held from June 7th - June 11th, 2023, in Washington D.C.
