BIG, Entropiq, and FORZE miss out on PGL Copenhagen Major
Johannes 'tabseN' Wodarz delivered a subpar performance as the Germans were eliminated in the closed qualifier for the European RMR.
For the second time in a row, BIG will miss out on a Major. But this time Johannes 'tabseN' Wodarz and company did not even make it to the RMR tournament. The Germans came short in the closed qualifier this weekend, where they lost three straight matches to find themselves out of contention for the first CS2 Major in history.
The final nail in the coffin was delivered by the Romanians from Nexus, who terrorized BIG on Vertigo before ending the hope of seeing talents like Karim 'Krimbo' Moussa in Copenhagen with an overtime win on Ancient. Sadly for BIG, it was team captain Johannes 'tabseN' Wodarz and AWP'er Mateusz 'mantuu' Wilczewski who failed to deliver in the match with ratings below 1.00.
For FORZE it came as close as it got with a very narrow 2-1 loss against Peter 'dupreeh' Rasmussen's Preasy. The two teams fought hard for their lives in the elimination match that concluded with a 13-11 win to Preasy on Anubis. Entropiq lost to sYnck after another close affair, where the five-month-old roster failed to convert their map pick before losing 13-8 on Inferno to the Estonians. sYnck went on to the decider qualifier, where they were eliminated.
