BIG send SAW to last chance bracket
A clean sweep by the German roster.
BIG took upon SAW in the Group B lower bracket semi-final. The losing team goes to Group B Last Chance Stage.
Starting the series off on Anubis, BIG came out dominating the Portuguese team from the very start. The German roster established an impressive T side winning 13 out of 15 possible in the first half. With a 13-2 score in favor of BIG, there was no doubt that they would close out the game on the CT side. Despite a comeback towards the end by SAW, BIG won Anubis 16-11. On Anubis, SAW stood no chance against the German rifler Nils 'k1to' Gruhne who produced some stunning numbers.
Next up, Overpass. A close encounter between the two teams was on the schedule this late afternoon in Malta. Starting off the map best was SAW who gained early momentum on the CT side. BIG fought their way back to end the half with seven rounds on the weaker T side. SAW managed to secure itself the pistol round once again. However, the young gun from BIG was the man to stop SAW from bringing the series to a third map. BIG won Overpass 16-14 after some intense rounds towards the end.
