Complexity is a North American esports organization established in 2003. It was founded by Jason Lake who still serves as CEO with the ambition of being pioneers in the world of esports. Complexity is one of the oldest Counter-Strike teams still participating in CS:GO, with a long list of prominent players including automatic, ShahZaM, Stanislaw and dephh
Complexity acquired in 2013 the entire roster of Quantic Gaming counting the likes of Hiko, sgares, n0thing, swag and Semphis, which on paper looked like a strong and very talented group of players. They failed to reach their full potential with their biggest results that year being a second place in ESEA Globals Season 14 and a third place in DreamHack Winter.
In 2019, Complexity parted ways with three experienced NA players in n0thing, stanislaw and ShahZam three NA players and brought in three young and talented European players in blameF, k0nfig and poizon. It was clear that a generational change was on the way, with the acquisition of RUSH and oBo, and Complexity was now a team to keep an eye on in the near future.
