ZywOo saves Vitality to secure Major qualification
MOUZ couldn't close out the series against a well-playing ZywOo, despite a strong start on Vertigo.
After losing to FaZe and NAVI, Vitality was set on a 2-2 score forcing them to win against MOUZ this Wednesday morning. And at one point it looked like the upcoming PGL Antwerp Major would be without the presence of the French superstar Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut.
Because with MOUZ up 9-6 on Dust2 and with a 1-0 map lead after winning Nuke, Vitality was only one half away from missing out on the $1 Million championship.
But then ZywOo came alive…
With a masterclass performance on Dust2, where the 21-year-old AWP prodigy posted a stellar 1.89 Rating and presented several vital clutches and individual round wins. Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen also chimed in with a solid performance, showcasing his great experience as the four-time Major winner that he is.
It was also the Great Dane who clinched the match victory on Mirage through a vital 1v2 clutch on the A-side.
