ZywOo: "I started playing CS at 7 years old"
The French prodigy reminisces about his first LAN experience at only 9 years of age
The French Counter-Strike scene seemed lost for quite some time after big names such as "kennyS" and "shox" had begun to perform worse than expected. However, it all changed when one man took the world by storm in his rookie season of professional Counter-Strike. That man is of course Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut. "ZywOo" managed to bring a spark back into the French Counter-Strike scene and now holds the title as the best player in the world.
But how did this monster come the be such an incredible Counter-Strike player? In an interview "ZywOo" reminisce about his early experiences with the game and states that he began at the young age of only 7:
"I think I started playing CS at 7 years old. The first LAN I played was when I was 9 years old. It was with my family, my brother and my cousin also played. It was like a dream, everybody was playing in the same room."
