Vitality came back after losing first map
FunPlus Phoenix won the first map on Dust2, but Vitality ended up winning the game after ZywOo stepped up in the last map on Vertigo.
Vitality got themselves a fantastic start on Dust2, as they managed to win 10-5 in the first half at the legendary course.
And as we know, the legendary Dust2 is more T side dominated, so everyone expected Vitality to win the map on auto-pilot.
But FPX wanted it otherwise as they turned on another gear in the second half as the CT side, and they managed to win 11-3 as the CT side, a fantastic performance, where the team got inspired by Maden who played a fantastic second half on Dust2.
FPX won the first map 16-13 against ZywOo´s troops, where the main man in the roster ZywOo didn’t play his best two maps before he came back in the last, but more to that later on in the article.
In the second map in Inferno, FPX delivered a great first half as the T side, where they managed to get themselves a 9-6 lead before, they should shift over to the CT side.
They got a great chance of succeeding and winning the game leading 9-6 into their CT side, but again a comeback was on in this game as Vitality came back after an outrageous presentation of offense by Vitality.
They toured up the defensive line of FPX and they managed to win the second half 10-3 and ultimately winning the map 16-12.
Therefore, a third map was needed, and this map can be seen as the comeback of ZywOo, who had been closed down throughout the two first maps, but the French icon came to get his revenge on Vertigo.
ZywOo´s troops got themselves a fantastic start as they won the CT side 9-6.
They didn’t grant any chance of a comeback for FPX and ultimately won the game 16-10 after a perfect performance by the French phenom who again proved to be one of the best players in the world, after a slow start. But slow and steady wins the race.
