Stewie2K is calling the shots at Liquid
adreN confirms that Stewie2K is the current in-game leader of Liquid
Known for his incredible AWP'ing abilities as well as his beloved personality is Gabrel "FalleN" Toledo. He is, by many, regarded as the Godfather of the Brazilian Counter-Strike scene and has proven his worth as an AWP'er, in-game leader, and teammate. When joining Liquid at the start of 2021 many thought that he would become the new in-game leader of Liquid, this, however, isn't currently the case.
When asked about who is currently calling the shots at Team Liquid the head coach of the roster Eric "adreN" Hoag answered the following:
"Right now Jake is calling everything, pretty much taking over all the maps being a full-time IGL. It just makes sense because Jake has a really good mind and a really good read for how the team likes to play and just reading opponents. He has always been really active mid-round calling, even when FalleN was the IGL he would still be taking over mid-round calling."
