So HLTV has sounded their yearly trumpets, unveiled their Top 20 CS:GO Players of 2020, and, well, it’s official: Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut was the best player in the world.

Not Natus Vincere’s s1mple.

But this past weekend we saw NAVI and s1mple secure the first big event of 2021 at BLAST Premier Global Final and clapped ZywOo along the way. Now, does it devalue the HLTV ranking? Of course not. Does it make what is already the best rivalry in Esport that much spicier?
