Report: G2 to sign Vitality coach XTQZZZ
The profiled Frenchmen will take up the coach postion following the departure of Damien "maLeK" Marcel.
The current coach for Vitality Remy "XTQZZZ" Quoniam will transfer to G2 and lead Nikola “NiKo” Kovac and company from 2022.
At least if the recent report by 1pvr about the French coach is true. According to the French media site, the 32-year-old coach will make the shift after it was announced back in early November that XTQZZZ was set to lose his head coach at Vitality job to Danny “Zonic” Sørensen, the legendary coach from Astralis.
XTQZZZ has been the coach of Vitality since the very beginning of the team’s history, joining the Frenchmen in December 2018. His best results with the team ended up being their titles at EPICENTER 2019 and BLAST Premier Fall 2020.
The report also states that G2 is interested in signing Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen from OG to lead the team on the server as the in-game leader. The Finn is the second rumoured arrival on the roster, with also the Russian wonderkid Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov being heavily linked to the superstar team.
