G2 dominate FaZe and lock in playoffs

Hopes were high for all Counter-Strike fans in the world to see some prime CS2 action with G2 and FaZe colliding in the “2-1” bracket.

Unfortunately, G2 had other plans. Inferno was almost over before it had started and the same could be said about Mirage. It took G2 an hour and 27 minutes to dismantle FaZe 13-4, and 13-3 and qualify for the playoffs at the Shanghai Major.

FaZe ended the match with David "frozen" Čerňanský walking into a molly and dying from the fire. A suiting ending to the match where nothing worked for FaZe, who will play an all-or-nothing match tomorrow to clinch one of the last spots in the playoffs.
