Hooxi: We are losing to ourselves
It was a disappointed G2 in-game leader that commented on the Semi-Final loss against NAVI after the match.
G2 came agonizingly close to reaching another Major Grand Final but fell short at the final hurdle as NAVI clinched victory by winning the decisive map of Ancient.
After the game, G2’s in-game leader, Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen, shared his thoughts on the match.
- We are throwing away a lot of afterplants left and right which is of course our own mistake. We are losing to ourselves, Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen said about losing on their own map pick of Anubis.
The issue of internal struggle was also addressed by G2's coach, Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas, during a team discussion, as mentioned by Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen in the interview.
- TAZ, our coach, said that “If we overcome this thing of fighting ourselves so much, we will win every tournament that we participate in”, and I think that is true, he added.
