FalleN: Heroic is going to be a very tough opponent
The desk at ESL Pro League Season 14 spoke with Liquid’s captain after their victory against fnatic.
On Wednesday, NA CS:GO’s last hope continued to impress at the ESL Pro League Season 14 event, advancing to the quarter-finals after beating fnatic 2-0 and eliminating them from the tournament.
Liquid’s AWPer, Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo played a massive role in the victory and helped his team surviving a triple overtime affair with unreal impact. The Brazilian finished the series as the highest rated player in the server, posting a 1.41 rating and 0.94 kills per round. After the match, FalleN spoke with the desk at EPL about their next opponent, Heroic.
”Heroic is going to be a very tough opponent. They move a lot, they do gambles, they try to read what your next move is, when they win a round they’re going to change in the next, and they’re smart. For me, playing Heroic is all about the next inch, it’s not about executing your strategy properly. It’s different than playing some other teams who are going to give you some space, so it’s going to be tough, but I think we have the tools and the players we need to beat them.”
FalleN and company will be taking upon the Danish side from Heroic on Friday at 19:15 (CET) for a spot in the semi-finals.
