Confirmed: YEKINDAR steps in for Team Liquid at IEM Cologne

The Latvian was announced yesterday night for the NA team.

The race for Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis is temporarily called off after Team Liquid announced him as their replacement for Richard "shox" Papillon for the upcoming IEM Cologne next month.

The Latvian star was benched on Virtus.pro last month after a series of speculations about his future after the international situation had changed due to the ongoing war in Ukraine.

There is no news if Team Liquid is looking to make the deal permanent, which according to OG's in-game leader, Nemanja "nexa" Isaković could be a costly affair.

YEKINDAR will make his debut for the North Americans at IEM Cologne, where Team Liquid is seeded into the main tournament.
