BIG secure DH Open playoff spot over MAD Lions
The Germans advance to the next stage, while MAD Lions will have to fight again tomorrow for their advancement.
The heavy favourites from BIG have just secured themselves a place in the playoff stage at DreamHack Open November after taking down MAD Lions in the Group A winner matchup this Thursday. Johannes “tabseN” Wodarz and his side got the win through a masterpiece performance on Mirage, where they went 14-1 on the CT-side.
On BIG’s map pick on Dust2, things got more competitive and heated between the two teams, as MAD Lions improved their game massively after their tame showing in map 1. Before the switch, MAD Lions were up 8-7, however in the end, BIG was able to turn things around on the defence once again. The 16-13 map win send the Germans through to the playoff as 1st seed, while MAD Lions is set to play against the winner of MOUZ and GamerLegion for the last playoff spot.
