BIG eliminate Eternal Fire and secure semi-finals at Roobet Cup

The Turks of Eternal Fire faced the Germans of BIG in the first quarter-final of Roobet Cup. BIG were close to sealing it in two maps, but Eternal Fire sneakily managed to take it all the way.

It looked like a very even matchup in the early stages of the first map; Overpass. The Eternal Fire squad got an extremely acceptable seven rounds on the offense, mainly due to both 'XANTARES' and 'Calyx's massive early impact.
The second half was an entirely different story. BIG, who had a one-round lead at halftime, played an impressive offensive half led by two of the people you do not normally consider the carries. The first was 'tiziaN', who with multiple clutch plays and good entries was the best player on the server, and the second in 'k1to' had a dismal first half but managed to turn it around with more than one KPR in the second.

After the win on Overpass, BIG had the pleasure of playing on their homecourt; Dust2. Right off the bat, the Germans were merciless on the offense. 'syrsoN' and 'k1to' were playing so well that the other three did not have to do anything out of the ordinary to easily win twelve of the first fifteen rounds.
Eternal Fire down nine rounds at halftime played a sublime T side. The Turks did the exact same thing as BIG and won twelve stellar offensive rounds to push the map to overtime where they kept up their winning ways and snatched the map away from BIG.

The deciding map of the series was Nuke, and Eternal Fire had to deliver a solid CT-side performance to win the map as they have looked awful on the Nuke T side lately. Unfortunately for them, they were not able to play even an acceptable CT side, as 'tabseN' and 'syrsoN' led the way for yet another dominant offensive half. BIG led 10-5 at halftime.
BIG did not waste any time getting to the finish line, as they did not have any trouble dealing with Eternal Fire's offense. The Germans sealed the deal at 16-7 and secured their spot in the semi-finals.
