Analyst: FalleN should be the IGL for Team Liquid
Our renowned analyst Mathieu "Maniac" Quiquerez believes that the NA team should change their roster setup.
When Liquid signed the CS:GO legend Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo, everyone was certain that the Brazilian phenomenon, not only stepped in as the primary AWPer but also as the captain and the in-game leader. However, the latter wasn’t the case as Jake "Stewie2k" Yip continued as IGL, even though the 29-year old player is considered as one of the brightest minds in the game and with him having won two major titles both SK and Luminosity Gaming as the in-game leader. Our analyst, Mathieu "Maniac" Quiquerez has touched on the matter and he believes that FalleN should be the IGL on the star-studded NA team.
Hear what Maniac have to say about the situation:
Maniac mentions that FalleN and the rest of Liquid commenced their CS:GO adventure on a rather high note, with the North Americans putting on an impressive showing at their debut event of BLAST Premier Global Final.
And although it was their first event together, the communication and teamwork inside the team looked stellar, with the following clip demonstrating just that. A perfectly executed A-site attack on Inferno, led by the FalleN as the main caller, which gave NAVI no chance to defend themselves.
It will be exciting to follow Liquid in the future and see what they can achieve with FalleN on the team, and also whether they will stick with Stewie2K as the leader or if they slowly will implement the Brazilian veteran into his old role.
Can Liquid turn things around and achieve the same results as their glory days in 2018-19?
