9z edge out Evil Geniuses to go 2-1 in Rio

In a nailbiter match on Nuke, 9z managed to win against Evil Geniuses in a game, that got decided on the most narrow of margins.

In front of the audience at Riocentro 9z was the crowd favorite, but they had to work hard to stay relevant in the match. But despite trailing 5-10 after the first half, 9z came back and forced the match to overtime, where they prevailed and won the game.

Despite winning the match, 9z can look back at a sloppy match, where both teams missed smoke lineups and failed to maximize their opportunities. Something that will probably be exposed against better opponents.
