Brazilian coach leaves 9z
zakk is looking for new opportunities after three years of coaching 9z.
The 31-year-old is seeking new offers after his departure from 9z, Rafael "zakk" Fernandes announced on his Twitter.
The well-known coach joined 9z back in 2020 and has since then helped the team to titles during the online era under corona. zakk took his team to the FiReLEAGUE 2021 victory where 9z beat Isurus in the final. He also coaches them in Roobet cup where 9z managed to take down FURIA in back-to-back victories. The experienced coach also lead the team to their highest-ever world ranking peak at no. 19 back in August 2022. 9z is currently placed at no. 23 on the HLTV world ranking list.
Where zakk will be coaching next is yet to be announced, for now, the 31-year-old experienced coach is looking for new opportunities in the upcoming 2023 season.
