zonic on dupreeh benching: One of the toughest decisions I had to make in my professional career

The Team Vitality coach has explained that it was his decision to bench his fellow Dane.

It's been an emotional day at the Team Vitality camp saying goodbye to Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen shortly after winning the BLAST.tv Paris Major together.

Coach Danny "zonic" Sørensen commented on the benching of dupreeh on Twitter, where he revealed, that it was his call to replace dupreeh with flameZ.

- I wish dupreeh the best of luck. It is with a heavy heart I say goodbye to him after 7.5 years and 5 majors today. One of the toughest decisions I had to make in my professional career. I will forever cherish our friendship and I wish him nothing but the best.

The two have stuck together since 2016, first on Astralis and since then on Team Vitality.

Emil "Magisk" Reif also tweeted about his now-former teammate.
